The romance novel THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES, written by bestselling author and British Book Award nominee Cecilia Ahern (»P.S. I Love You«, »Love, Rosie«), is currently in development and expected to shoot spring of 2017 in Oxford and London. Simon Nye, best known for the hit sitcom »Men Behaving Badly«, and Damian Wayling, known for the hugely successful period drama series »Call The Midwife« and »Garrow’s Law«, are penning the screenplay. Director Peter Lydon has directed cult classics like »Shameless, »Teachers«, »Secret Diary of a Call Girl« and »Vincent«.

Gate is currently developing the first ever film adaptation of A MAN AND HIS DOG. The novel by Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann, author of »The Magic Mountain« and »Death in Venice«, was first published in 1916 and translated into English and all other major languages worldwide. A MAN AND HIS DOG was heralded for its simple telling of how a dog became a priceless companion, an animal who brought meaning to the author's life. Jo Baier, award winning director of »Schwabenkinder«, »Stauffenberg« and »Nicht alle waren Mörder«, is writing the script for a shoot shoot in 2017/18.
